Senior Process Engineer

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Senior Process Engineer. In this role, you will take technical responsibility for the planning, construction, as well as the commissioning and qualification of large-scale biopharmaceutical plants. With your sound expertise, you will lead demanding projects to success and develop innovative process solutions for our international customers. Your main responsibilities are: * Responsible for the system engineering of the plants and ensuring plant functionality * Process engineering configuration of the plants according to customer requirements, taking into account standards and company standards * Development of process calculations regarding mass flows, heat transfers & safety devices * Specification of components, instruments and apparatus * Creation of functional specifications of the plant control for operations, control loops and alarms * Creation of plant-related risk analyses according to the Machinery Directive and CE requirements * Processing of design reviews and test protocols to ensure all project and customer requirements * Participation in project meetings with our customers * Carrying out commissioning and acceptance tests in-house as well as partly at the customer's site * Updating, controlling and managing engineering documents * Preparation, implementation and monitoring of acceptances to fulfill CE conformity regarding the Pressure Equipment Directive Your profile: * University degree FH or equivalent qualifications in the field of technology or engineering (process engineering, mechanical engineering, biotechnology, food technology, chemistry) * Sound knowledge in process engineering and plant engineering * Knowledge in hygienic design and application of ASME BPE are an advantage * 7-10 years of experience as a Process Engineer in the field of plant construction * Open and communicative personality with solution-oriented thinking and action * Worldwide willingness to travel (from a few days to several weeks) We offer: * Responsible, varied tasks with international contacts * Participation in international projects in the pharma, biotech and food environment * Cooperation in an interdisciplinary, experienced team * Flat hierarchies, short decision-making paths and open communication Ready for the next step?
