Job Description ##

In this versatile function, you will work as part of a project team on modernization projects of our packaging systems and thus make a significant contribution to the success of Syntegon.

• You will work on the modernization of sophisticated packaging machines of various years of construction.
• Additionally, you will independently handle customer projects from the offer to the order and find the best solution for their requirements in the technical field.
• You will also research in older documentation to verify the status of the machine.
• You will implement and design modules and applications for conversions and retrofits using SolidWorks.
• For our foreign assembly technicians, you are the contact person in the area of mechanics before and during the assembly assignment.
• As a member of interdisciplinary project teams, you will work closely with colleagues from the electrical (SW/HW) team, project management, assembly, and commissioning.

Qualifications ##

• You have a successfully completed degree in the field of mechanical engineering or a comparable technical discipline.
• Several years of professional experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in special purpose machinery, are required.
• You are accustomed to working with 3D-CAD programs and ideally have experience with SolidWorks.
• Complex, technically demanding tasks motivate you particularly, and you can become enthusiastic about technically sophisticated packaging machines.
• You are a team player with a strong customer orientation, approach tasks independently and solution-oriented, and show great initiative.
• You bring passion for mechanical systems and ideally possess experience with high-performance applications in product handling.
• Good German and English skills in spoken and written form round off your profile.
