Public Works Employee (80 % - 100 %) Hägglingen is located in the sunny north of Freiamt and has over 2'700 inhabitants. We are looking for a Public Works Employee (80 % - 100 %) with a deputy function for the Head of Public Works, starting 1. November 2026 or by arrangement. Your tasks include: Technical responsibility for green space maintenance Maintenance and care work on rural and municipal roads, drainage, streams, etc. Cleaning and monitoring work on the wastewater disposal systems Cemetery maintenance, carrying out earth and urn burials, burial assistant Winter service activities on roads, paths, and squares Waste management, littering Maintenance of machines and equipment Occupational safety and health protection (function of Safety Officer) Further areas of responsibility by arrangement You bring with you: Vocational apprenticeship in a manual trade (horticulture, agriculture, construction, facility management, specialty public works or similar) Manual and technical skill (all-rounder) Team and communication skills, flexibility, physical resilience Independent and reliable way of working Readiness for on-call service, e.g., for winter service, burials Enjoyment of working outdoors Driving license Cat. B mandatory, Cat.
