Are you a team player, proactive, and do you not shy away from administrative tasks? Then you are in the right place at HR MBA. Together with your colleague, you are the central contact person for all HR topics for the Vocational, Study and Career Guidance department (BIZ Kanton Bern) of the Mittelschul- und Berufsbildungsamt. The position is temporarily fixed-term until 31 December 2027 with an option for extension.

Your tasks

• You are responsible for the advice and support of managers and employees on labor law, social, and employment-related topics throughout the entire HR Life Cycle.
• You also handle all the associated administrative activities.
• You advise the line as a sparring partner on various questions regarding organization and cooperation.
• In the HR team, you work closely with your colleagues in the BIZ and regularly exchange ideas with your colleagues at the MBA location.
• You participate in the continuous further development of HR processes and in HR projects.

Your profile

• You have a commercial or comparable basic training with further training in the personnel area (HR Fachfrau / HR-Fachmann) and proven practical experience of 3 to 5 years.
• As an empathetic, persuasive personality, you bring joy to taking on responsibility.
• You are strong in communication -- proficient in German, both spoken and written; you speak French very well (at least B2).
• You are IT-savvy and work pragmatically, solution-oriented, and structured.

The Mittelschul- und Berufsbildungsamt of the Bildungs- und Kulturdirektion is the central service center for the benefit of all training partners at the secondary level II, in higher vocational training, in continuing education, and in vocational, study and career guidance. It promotes the development of offerings and quality within the framework of legislation and is responsible for the management and monitoring of financial resources and quality indicators at secondary level II schools.

The HR advises and supports the managers and employees of the office as well as the administrative staff and the school management of the cantonal vocational schools and Mittelschulen.
