You hold a medical degree or have training deemed equivalent by the Commission of Medical Professions (MEBEKO). Clinical experience within the Geneva hospital and/or ambulatory network is desired. Two years of training in a Swiss hospital internal medicine service of category A or B or written guarantee of having obtained such a position are required. For non-French speakers, a French level C1 in spoken and written tests is required. This department combines a social mission aimed at enabling access to care for all and an academic mission aimed at providing pre- and post-graduate teaching and research in primary care medicine. The Primary Care Medicine Service (SMPR) ensures the ambulatory care of adult patients relevant to primary care medicine. This service also offers ambulatory emergency medical services to the population. As part of the HUG's missions of general interest, it provides access to care for disadvantaged populations due to their age, social, economic, or legal status (asylum seeker, non-entrance, illegal, prisoner); if necessary, the Primary Care Medicine Service also ensures the continuity of their care. Within our service, and notably the ambulatory emergencies, interns benefit from the opportunity to train in POCUS (Point-of-Care Ultrasound) component 1 and AFC module abdominal in the context of their curriculum. This training is provided by two accredited frameworks, guaranteeing high-quality learning and practical mastery of clinical ultrasound.
