Your tasks As a specialist for all work on the power grid, you are responsible for the construction, operation, and maintenance of cable and overhead lines, switching and transformer stations, as well as public lighting. Whether in the city or in the countryside, you are on the move almost daily and working outdoors - in summer as well as in winter. You thus discover the whole world of electrical energy and can bravely forge new paths. Despite technical aids, you also often roll up your sleeves yourself and independently find a way to solve problems. To minimize risks in your challenging activity, you learn the safe handling of tools and machines. Whether in the cable trench or on the overhead line masts: As a Netzelektrikerin or Netzelektriker, you mostly work in a group. Good cooperation and mutual trust are required.
