What you can achieve

As a member of the Repair department at the GE Vernova production site in Birr, you will work as a CNC Operator in a 2-shift operation, actively contributing to supporting the department in production and demonstrating your initiative.

Job Description #

Your tasks

• Set up and operate CNC machining tools for the mechanical processing of gas turbine components
• Maintain equipment such as fixtures, grinding wheels, diamond rollers, milling tools, and electrodes
• Monitor systems and rectify faults - also in cooperation with the maintenance department and equipment suppliers
• Independently perform dimensional checks (quality control) and report results in the SAP system
• Deburr and mark components according to required specifications
• Perform maintenance work on systems and peripheral devices
• Support new developments and process improvements as well as participate in system optimization
• Document production metrics for OEE evaluation

What you should bring (basic qualifications)

• Completed technical training or experience in industrial manufacturing
• Good knowledge of CNC machining, experience in quality testing
• Good knowledge of reading technical drawings and documents
• Good PC skills and good German skills in speaking and writing
