Customs Tariff Specialist M/F

>>> Missions :

As a specialist in customs tariffing, you intervene as a technical expert in the classification of goods and ensure compliance with customs regulations.

In this capacity, you are required to:

• Identify and validate customs tariff codes as well as the origin of goods purchased or manufactured
• Work in close collaboration with various internal interlocutors (purchasing, sales, development) and external ones (suppliers, customs authorities) in order to guarantee the reliability of customs data
• Ensure the management and updating of customs master data in the ERP system
• Participate, with team members, in the preparation of customs declarations and ensure the compliance of import and export operations
• Advise and support the various departments of the company on customs regulations, preferential rules of origin, and free trade agreements

>>> Profile sought :

Ideally holding a CFC as a commercial employee or an equivalent training, you have several years of experience in a similar position, in customs tariffing.

You are proficient in French and German, both spoken and written.
The knowledge of English constitutes an asset.

You are comfortable with MS Office and possess a good command of IT tools in general (notably ERP-type tools).

Autonomous and rigorous, you demonstrate an excellent sense of organization and enjoy teamwork.
