Senior Embedded Software Engineer - Food & Beverage Systems ###

In our development center in Wil SG, we realize technical products for startups, SMEs, as well as global companies - from medical and laboratory technology to household appliances and industrial products. For demanding development projects in the field of food and beverage systems, we are looking for a qualified person.

Field of activity ###

As an experienced software engineer with a taste for interdisciplinary product development, you will develop innovative devices and systems with our teams from the idea to series maturity. Your focus is on embedded software development - you are interested not only in the code, but in the entire product and its function. You understand the interaction between software, electronics, sensors/actuators, and the overall physical system and actively bring this understanding to the search for solutions.

You autonomously take charge of demanding technical work packages and accompany them from the elaboration of requirements and software architecture to implementation, testing, integration, and commissioning on the real product. You analyze and resolve technical problems in a systematic and pragmatic manner - beyond the limits of the software. In close collaboration with our clients, project managers, and other specialized disciplines, you develop solutions that meet both technical and economic requirements.

Requirements ###

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, systems engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field
• Several years of experience in embedded software development for mechatronic products

• Experience with modern development tools and automated software development processes (e.g., CI/CD, code analysis)
• Experience in integration, commissioning, testing, and systematic fault finding on real products
• Experience with series products, ideally with household appliances or beverage systems for private and professional applications
• Autonomous, structured, and pragmatic way of working as well as pleasure in performing technical tasks from design to functional product
