The Spitalverbund Appenzell Ausserrhoden with the Akutspital Herisau and the Psychiatrische Zentrum AR in Herisau ensures the extended basic medical care for the population in the Canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden and is also the first point of contact for a large part of the population in the surrounding region. Both locations are relevant for care for the canton and beyond.

In the Klinik für Psychiatrie und Psychotherapie under the nursing management of Herr Sven Lang, Elisabeth (Liz) Fürer is looking for a dipl. Pflegefachperson HF/FH as a permanent night watch 80-100% for the psychiatric private ward with a psychotherapeutic focus, immediately or by arrangement.

Your tasks

• Patient-oriented, resource-promoting and holistic care and support of our private and semi-private patients of different ages and with various psychiatric diagnoses
• Implementation and securing of the ward concept in practice
• Management of the nursing process, compliance with guidelines and instructions and participation in the development of a professionally sound quality of care
• Responsibility for patient-centered documentation of the nursing process in ORBIS NICE and correct performance recording based on our LEP catalog
• Co-responsibility for the care and instruction of our apprentices as well as the introduction of new employees
• Transparent, interdisciplinary cooperation with all specialists involved in the treatment, including external contact persons
• Execution of diagnostic and therapeutic measures

Your profile

• You are motivated to work in a very interesting, versatile and demanding field of activity
• You are a diplomierte Pflegefachperson HF/FH or possess a corresponding foreign diploma
• You enjoy working in the night shift and show willingness to work as a permanent night watch
• You bring good German language skills in speaking and writing
• You have professional experience in the inpatient psychiatric setting
• You are a nursing professional working independently and responsibly
• You possess good communication, service and quality competence
