Exciting tasks await: • Triage of incoming prisoners, clarification of prison entry capability and medical entry interviews • Independent conduct of consultations for prisoners to ensure basic medical care including diagnostic investigations (clinical examinations, laboratory tests, electrodiagrams, ultrasound examinations, X-rays, etc.) • Interpretation of diagnostic results, derivation and implementation of medical care and therapeutic measures • Obtaining specialist medical assessments via Telepresence/Healthpresence (video conference with doctors) • Ordering, preparing and dispensing medication • Willingness to work in 3-shift operation, possibility exists to work exclusively night shifts What you bring: • Degree as a dipl. nurse HF or equivalent education, as well as completed further training (NDS intensive or emergency care HF) • Professional experience in various functions of acute medicine (medicine, surgery, emergency) and the ability to remain calm in emergency interventions • Very good German language skills and oral communication in at least one foreign language, team skills, stress tolerance, reliability, independence, decision-making pleasure • Minimum age: 28 years, driver's license category B, impeccable reputation (current certificate of good conduct and extract from the debt collection register) *Your work environment* At the Lenzburg Prison (https://www.ag.ch/de/verwaltung/dvi/strafverfolgung-strafvollzug/jva-lenzburg), persons who have been sentenced to a prison term or a custodial measure are cared for. The offer includes 380 places for closed custody, pre-trial detention and short sentences. The central prison of the Lenzburg Prison is expanding its offer and creating a specialized entry department, which will handle all cantonal prison entries around the clock in the future. To ensure medical care during the entry process, a specialized health service is being set up, which will play a central role in the initial health assessment and accompaniment of the persons admitted.
