The Bündner Kantonsschule is a significant educational institution with approx. 1'000 students of all three cantonal languages. As a department of the Amt für Höhere Bildung, it offers secondary education programs at the long-term and short-term gymnasium as well as at the vocational, commercial and informatics middle schools. The IT service provides a secure and reliable digital infrastructure for teaching and learning operations, supports students, teachers and employees with technical concerns and accompanies the school in the further development of its digital working and learning environment. For the IT service, we are looking for an ICT System Engineer Support & Projects starting 1 January 2027 or by arrangement. Your area of responsibility * Ensuring the operation of the IT infrastructure and the system environment as well as its further development * Support of the server, network, client and cloud systems based on Microsoft, Apple and Linux technologies * Analysis and resolution of technical malfunctions in 1st and 2nd level support and support of teachers, employees and students with technical problems * Planning and realization of IT projects, development of technical concepts and introduction of new solutions and technologies * Support and development of audio, video and media technology in the school premises * Creation and maintenance of technical documentation, standards and processes * Support of teachers and employees in the use of digital tools and in the technical implementation of new digital learning and working formats What we wish for from you * A completed training as Informatiker/in EFZ or a comparable qualification * Professional experience in the administration and support of IT infrastructures as well as good knowledge in several of the areas mentioned below: Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, network, virtualization and client systems * Experience with IT projects, concept work and in the introduction of new technologies * Analytical, networked thinking, an independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working and the willingness to take on responsibility * Service-oriented, open personality who enjoys working with people and possesses the ability to convey technical matters understandably * Proficient German language skills, knowledge of other cantonal languages as well as interest in the development of digital media in the field of education are an advantage Our advantages Flexible working time models and where possible incl. home office and mobile working Work-life balance with at least 5 weeks vacation and long-service leave Special social allowance in addition to the child allowance and support for third-party childcare of children Attractive salary and social benefits Diverse training and further education opportunities Possibility to help shape the future of the canton [Learn more about our advantages](< >) Place of work Amt für Höhere Bildung Bündner Kantonsschule Arosastrasse 2 7000 Chur If you have questions about the position, please contact Thomas Issler, Head of IT Services, by telephone or by email Application deadline: 9 November 2026 We look forward to your online application and to getting to know you.
