The Primarschule Uster, with around 3'000 school and kindergarten children, is the third largest school community in the Canton of Zürich. Uster is reachable from Zürich HB by train in 14 minutes. In the after-school care centers of the city of Uster, kindergarten children and primary school students are cared for and supported during non-teaching time as well as during school holidays. We are looking for, as of October 2027 or by arrangement, a Group Leader After-School Care Krämeracker 45-50% (m/f/d) ## 13 weeks vacation Working hours: Mon & Tue 11-15 Uhr, Thu & Fri 10-18 Uhr (every 2 weeks team meeting on Tuesday from 9.30 Uhr), no assignments during school holidays Your area of activity: • Support of the after-school care management and deputy after-school care management in the implementation of the concept, the defined goals, and the organization of the daily routine • Responsibility for the care of the children as well as fulfillment of the educational and instructional mandate • Design of high-quality care in close cooperation with your team, the parents, and the teaching team (contact person work) • Care of up to 110 children, depending on the day of the week • Administrative and organizational tasks Your profile: • Completed training in Social Work, Social Pedagogy, Childcare, a teaching diploma, or a federal certificate of proficiency (EFZ) as a Fachfrau/Fachmann Betreuung. • Several years of experience in childcare • Resilience, flexibility, and joy of innovation in everyday life • Structured and organizationally gifted way of working • Proficient in handling modern work tools We offer: • Attractive employment conditions according to the guidelines of the city of Uster • Opportunities for further training and personal development • Modern infrastructure and digital aids for optimal organization • A dedicated and professional team as well as a supportive working environment • A versatile, lively, and inspiring field of work with direct influence on pedagogical quality Interest piqued?
