The Human Resources Management (HRM) department includes a large number of tasks and is part of the Personalamt. HR consulting, vocational basic training, employer branding, and case management are at the center of the work. Vocational basic training means shaping the future. Every year, around one hundred apprentices start their training in 25 apprenticeship professions at the Canton of Zürich. Behind every apprenticeship is the chance to accompany young people on their way into professional life and at the same time train the specialists of tomorrow. Vocational basic training in the Personalamt, together with the Berufsbildungsforum, is responsible for the strategic orientation and further development of vocational training in the Canton of Zürich - from the definition of standards and processes, the further development of the apprenticeship offer, to joint projects and events. Together, we create the foundations so that the Canton of Zürich further expands its role model function in vocational training and also offers attractive perspectives for young people in the future. This newly created function offers you the unique opportunity to strategically further develop vocational training in the cantonal administration. Together, we will develop cross-directorate strategies and concepts, create new perspectives, and shape the promotion of young talent for the largest employer in the Canton of Zürich. The position is temporary within the framework of a project until the end of 2029. How can you contribute? Develop strategies: Together with the directorates and specialist departments, concepts and strategies are created (including apprenticeship promotion, development of SOG[AB4.1], continued employment of apprenticeship graduates, apprenticeship company network models, and apprenticeship profession managers) for the further development of vocational training in the cantonal administration. Lead projects to success: From the idea to the roadmap to implementation, you are responsible for demanding projects and ensure that concepts become concrete results. Build networks: You work across directorates with various stakeholders, take different interests into account, and present solution approaches. Create decision-making bases: Analyses, trends, and your recommendations for action form the basis for strategic decisions and the further development of vocational training. Think vocational training further: You recognize opportunities for new training models, strengthen existing offers, and develop sustainable solutions so that the Canton of Zürich also offers attractive perspectives for young people in the future.
