The Moosmatt schoolhouse is an integral part of the Stadt Luzern elementary school. The school is characterized by a committed team and its consistent commitment to high-quality education. Around 400 students in 14 classes and 7 kindergartens attend the Moosmatt schoolhouse, where they are taught and supervised by around 80 teachers and caregivers. The values and principles of the "New Authority" form the central basis of the schoolhouse. Our core values -- fresh thinking, courage, and appreciation -- are at the center of our work and shape our school day. Currently, a new schoolhouse is being built, which meets modern requirements. Additionally, the existing schoolhouse will be comprehensively renovated in the 2026/27 school year.
