Commvault Backup Engineer (f/m/d) Be your best with bechtle On behalf of our client based in Genève, we are looking for a Commvault Backup Engineer (f/m/d) responsible for ensuring the operation, reliability, and evolution of backup and data protection infrastructures within a critical banking environment. Your mission Administer, operate, and evolve the Commvault backup platform in order to guarantee data protection and availability. Supervise backup, restoration, replication, and archiving processes in accordance with security and business continuity requirements. Analyze and resolve incidents, optimize performance, and ensure the maintenance of operational conditions of the backup infrastructures. Participate in the definition and improvement of data protection, business continuity, and disaster recovery strategies. Collaborate with the systems, storage, virtualization, and network teams as part of platform evolutions and transformation projects. Your profile At least 5 years of experience in the administration and operation of backup solutions within complex and critical environments. Confirmed expertise in Commvault, particularly regarding administration, optimization, incident resolution, upgrades, and migrations. Solid knowledge of backup, restoration, replication, archiving, data protection, and DRP/BCP concepts. Good mastery of enterprise storage environments, with experience in HPE Alletra solutions. Good knowledge of Windows and Linux infrastructures, VMware virtualization, as well as SAN and NAS storage environments. Ability to work independently, methodically, and rigorously, with strong skills in analysis, problem-solving, and collaboration.
