The endocrinology unit provides diagnostic and therapeutic care for people living with an endocrine pathology. It also supports people undergoing gender transition. Nurse in endocrinology and HIV unit, outpatient sector - 50% You conduct individual consultations (blood tests and diagnostic tests, treatment, organization of follow-ups) with patients carrying endocrine pathologies. The pathologies you may encounter are: Thyroid diseases (hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, thyroid nodule, goiter, cancer) Pituitary diseases (adenoma, pituitary insufficiency, diabetes insipidus) Adrenal diseases (Cushing's syndrome, adrenal insufficiency, adrenal tumors) Ovarian and testicular diseases (hirsutism, gynecomastia, polycystic ovary syndrome, hypogonadism, infertility) Hypogonadism (Turner syndrome, Klinefelter syndrome, polycystic ovary syndrome, male or female infertility, menopause) Gender incongruence You assist the doctor in the treatment of thyroid nodules by radiofrequency and alcoholization (treatment under US, requiring rigor, technique and asepsis). You also support people undergoing gender transition in their journey. You may also be required to work in the infectiology unit which welcomes patients living with HIV, for regular follow-up and/or injections of long-acting treatment. As part of a mission of general interest and prevention, this unit is also a reference center for the implementation of prophylactic treatments against HIV (prep, Pep). It has an anonymous STI testing center where prevention messages and sexual health advice are provided. This activity is complementary to the activity in endocrinology, at a rate of one day per week. Qualifications You hold a Bachelor HES in nursing or an equivalent recognized title by the Swiss Red Cross. A CAS or a DAS in therapeutic education would be an asset. You have at least five years of experience in a care unit and you adapt easily to a versatile working environment. You are motivated to acquire the specific knowledge related to the pathologies managed in the service in order to guarantee optimal care for patients. You demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, with a keen sense of welcome, listening, non-judgment, empathy, benevolence and calmness. You are comfortable with therapeutic teaching and support patients in acquiring the knowledge and technical skills necessary for their autonomy, particularly in the context of workshops on adrenal insufficiency and learning injections to be performed at home. You strictly apply protocols relating to dynamic tests to guarantee diagnostic reliability. You demonstrate capacities for analysis, synthesis and adaptation in the face of unforeseen situations, while knowing how to prioritize your activities and organize your work efficiently. Finally, you are autonomous and have an excellent sense of interpersonal relations, promoting quality collaboration with patients and teams. You have an excellent command of the French language both spoken and written.
