What you can achieve

• Development and implementation of strategies for the sustainable further development of business, portfolio, and market segments
• Monitoring the implementation of the corporate strategy as well as strategic initiatives
• Creation and preparation of high-quality documents for presentation at GL / VR level
• Strategic steering and coordination of the RUAG-wide portfolio in coordination with the Business Areas
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution
• Collaboration and strategy alignment for possible future scenarios using market and technology scouting and idea generation within and outside of RUAG
• Collaboration with executive management, management, and external partners to align development initiatives with the overall strategy

What you bring with you

• Completed education at a university of applied sciences or university, preferably technical and/or business administration basic education with relevant further training (e.g., CAS, MAS, MBA)
• Professional experience in a similar position of at least 2-3 years is a requirement
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills for the development of options for action and target images
• Ability to quickly grasp, structure, and prepare complex issues in a manner appropriate to the target audience
• Ability to integrate different interests at management and specialist levels to create viable decision-making bases
• Experience or understanding in the leadership of cross-divisional strategic initiatives and transformation projects
• Experience in the field of consulting is an advantage
• Business fluent in German, English, and French is an advantage
