To complement our team at the BAZ Basel center, we are looking for a dipl. nursing specialist in day service to 60-100% immediately or by agreement. Your responsibilities ## • Responsible for and ensuring the medical basic care of asylum seekers in the center, taking into account existing guidelines (BEKO, SEM handbook - access to medical care for AS and procedures in BAZ, guideline for handling medicinal products, BAG handbook for outbreak management, and ORS processes) • Leading and organizing effective triage according to urgency and severity, and subsequent coordination with medical organizations (emergency, rescue organizations, doctors, dentists) • Providing medical first aid in emergencies, nursing measures, and doctor-ordered measures • Organizing, advising, and partially personally carrying out regular further training for non-medical caregivers/center management in the area of medical basic care/procedures in emergencies and prevention • Ensuring contacts and the flow of information to doctors, counseling centers, and other specialists • Ensuring daily office hours • Responsible for nursing and administering medical records Your profile ## • Tertiary education: Federal professional examination (Federal FA) or equivalent (e.g., Diplom HF) • Dipl. nursing specialist HF / FH • Several years of relevant professional experience • Teamwork, high social competence, and sense of responsibility • Calmness in dealing with difficult situations and openness to different cultures • Organizational talent and planning skills • Basic and user knowledge of MS-Office applications • Impeccable reputation (no entry in the debt collection and criminal records) • German | spoken: C1 | written: C1 • French | spoken: B1 | written: B1 (advantageous) • English | spoken: B1 | written: B1 For the area of responsibility entrusted to you, you will work initiative and fully.
