Specialist Advisor for Earthquake Safety and Water Protection Bern, Switzerland (and Home Office) | 80-100% Your contribution Specialist advice on earthquake safety for new construction, renovation, and repair projects at home and abroad Specialist advice during the planning and implementation of water supply and disposal measures on BBL sites Conduct specialist inventories for earthquake prevention of federal civil buildings as well as federal facilities for urban water engineering and continuously adapt them to new findings Represent the interests of the BBL in the further development of earthquake prevention for federal buildings in cooperation with other specialist offices Help shape trends in the field of rainwater management and recommend opportunities for implementation within BBL buildings What makes you unique Recognized degree as a civil engineer or construction specialist with equivalent training; further training in the earthquake safety of new buildings and existing buildings as well as further training as a specialist in land drainage or willingness to familiarize yourself with these topics Proven professional experience in the areas of earthquake safety and/or water protection Good analytical and conceptual thinking skills; capable of navigating complex issues Hardworking, motivated, and interested personality with an independent and responsible way of working Active knowledge of a second official language and English In a nutshell As a professional for specific questions from civil engineering, you are responsible for earthquake safety in construction projects as well as in around 2'500 existing buildings at home and abroad.
