Since March 2024, Caritas Schweiz has been operating asylum centers for families, individuals and unaccompanied minors (MNA) at currently five locations in the Canton of Zurich on behalf of the Cantonal Social Office (KSA). In this responsible function, you combine leadership competence with social pedagogical specialist work and actively shape the development of the team and young people. Your tasks * Professional and personnel leadership and advice of the MNA residential group team, solution-oriented intervention in problems and conflicts * Planning of personnel deployment according to personnel requirements planning in consultation with the center management * Participation in the recruitment of further specialists for the team * Preparation, follow-up and implementation of meetings including case discussions * Promotion of the professional further development of employees * Representation of the residential group towards internal and external bodies * Promotion of constructive, appreciative and interdisciplinary cooperation within the team * Implementation of employee discussions as well as support with goal setting and performance development * Taking over one MNA case management Our requirements * Completed recognized social pedagogical training (or equivalent) * Experience in the migration sector and/or youth work desirable * Strong leadership and communication skills * Good German skills, further foreign language skills an advantage * Intercultural competence * Willingness to work time-varying working hours * High sense of responsibility and quality * Initiative and independence as well as assertiveness * High resilience and robustness * Good Microsoft Office skills * Impeccable record of conduct Workplace: Canton of Zurich (Uster) Start date: Immediately or by arrangement.
