Head of Endowments & Law (70-100%) The Merian Stiftung promotes social cohesion, cultural diversity, and the careful handling of nature in the city of Basel. It has assets of CHF 1.8 Mrd., including 80% real estate, provides an annual funding contribution of around CHF 25 Mio., and continuously supports over 500 projects and organizations. We are looking for a motivated, communicative, and responsible personality as Head of Endowments & Law (70-100%) Your tasks and responsibilities: Leadership of the staff area Endowments & Law (two employees) Consulting for potential donors on all matters concerning endowments, inheritances, and legacies; acquisition of new endowments Systematic relationship management with existing donors and execution of testamentary executions and advance directives Administrative management of the independent and non-independent foundations managed by CMS (meeting management, reporting, etc.) Coordination between internal (finance, real estate, funding departments) and external bodies (foundation supervisory authority, audit) Internal legal advice; participation in cross-departmental working groups What you bring with you: Completed studies in jurisprudence (MLaw or similar), ideally with specialist knowledge in the field of inheritance law/legacies, or many years of experience in this field High social competence and empathy as well as a winning demeanor Experience in the foundation sector Precise, careful way of working Overarching interest in the funding topics of CMS Network in Basel is an advantage What we offer you: Varied and responsible activity in a meaningful environment Opportunity for professional development and further training Attractive workplace in Basel city center Modern working conditions and attractive employment terms Open, positive foundation culture Application process: Please send your complete application documents including motivation letter, CV, and certificates via e-mail to bewerbung(@), subject: «Leitung Zustiftungen & Recht».
