WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR FOR YOU

In this newly created role, you will assume technical and personnel responsibility for an internationally based team. Together with your team, you will ensure the final assembly of systems in customer countries.

You realize manufacturing at international locations from the conception of the supply chain to professional assembly and customer acceptance.

In addition, together with specialists from production, your team carries out the contractually owed knowledge and technology transfer to customers.

You are the central contact person for production outside of the main plants. You report to the Operations line organization.

Specifically, you will undertake the following tasks:

• Technical and personnel leadership of the team
• Planning and conception of assembly and commissioning at manufacturing sites in customer countries (Supply Chain / Logistics, infrastructure, processes, personnel requirements, etc.)
• Realization of assembly and commissioning at manufacturing sites in customer countries (Supply Chain / Logistics, infrastructure, processes, personnel requirements, etc.)
• Training and instruction of customer personnel in the assembly, integration, and commissioning of our systems
• Ensuring the fulfillment of contractual offset obligations through documented knowledge and technology transfer
• Coordination of deployment and travel planning including export control and security clearances
• Quality assurance of the systems assembled and commissioned at the customer site
• Documentation of the training sessions and deployments carried out as evidence for the customer and authorities
• Ensuring compliance with export control, confidentiality, and security requirements abroad
• Support in the further development of training and instruction concepts for customer assemblies as well as in the preparation of offset programs in the bidding process

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING

• Completed technical vocational training or degree (e.g., electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, systems engineering) or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in assembly, commissioning, or maintenance of complex technical systems, ideally in a defense or industrial environment
• Experience in the technical and personnel leadership of teams
• Experience in the training and instruction of technical personnel, ideally on-site at the customer
• Knowledge of export control, confidentiality, and travel security requirements is an advantage
• Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
• Intercultural competence, teamwork, willingness to cooperate, and emotional intelligence
• High capacity to learn, pragmatism, flexibility, initiative, resilience, and diligence
• Strong result- and performance orientation as well as ability to implement
• Good MS Office skills; SAP knowledge is an advantage
• Business fluent German and English skills
• Willingness to travel for regular assignments domestically and abroad
