The residential care of familea has 56 places for children and young people between the ages of 5 and 18 or older, who are cared for in seven residential groups of 8 places each. They are accompanied, promoted, and challenged in co-educational groups with different age structures during 365 days. All children and young people attend public schools or a training institution. ## For the student residential group Weiss, one of the four residential groups in the Children's Home Lindenberg, which accommodates psychosocially stressed children and young people between 5 and 15 years, we are looking for a Social Educator/Social Pedagogue FH/HF 80% ## ## You are a resilient, open, and empathetic person with language skills and flexibility, with heart and a resource- and solution-oriented attitude to fulfill this demanding task. Your positive basic attitude, supplemented with humor, also carries you through crisis situations in everyday life. Furthermore, you are characterized by a sensitive and trustworthy nature, which enables you to find access to children and young people at eye level and build durable relationships with an adequate proximity-distance relationship. With your expertise, you are able to quickly and effectively establish an effective working relationship in the helper system and support the children and young people in a participatory process on their way. As an employee, you are responsible for the following tasks together with a committed team of 6-7 people: Area of responsibility: ### • Accompaniment of children and young people in the residential group, in their everyday coping, in finding and implementing a perspective, and in crisis management • Resource- and solution-oriented reference person work including interdisciplinary collaboration in the client system (and case management). • Administrative tasks such as writing reports and protocols, written correspondence in the client system, and keeping group documentation • Active and appreciative co-design in the team and assumption of responsibility for cross-group collaboration in the house, both during weekends and holidays as well as in working groups, camps, and leisure activities. • Motivated cooperation in the team during change processes and creative solution finding • Taking over departments and/or cross-group areas of responsibility Requirements: ### • You have a degree as a Social Educator/Social Pedagogue FH/HF * and at least 3 years of professional experience in the stationary setting of child and youth welfare • You have experience in reference person work and are familiar with the common help systems • You have a practical guidance course and want to gain further experience in practical guidance • You appreciate the irregular working hours and times (including night and weekend shifts) • You enjoy participating in camps and implementing creative and sporting projects • You are characterized by your initiative, independence, and reliability • In dealing with children and young people, you have fun and humor • High social competence, motivation, and resilience are among your strengths • You have solid computer skills (MS-Office) • You possess a driver's license category B (an advantage) (*) For foreign diplomas, a certificate of equivalence from the State Secretariat for Education, Research, and Innovation SBFI must be submitted. ## We offer you: ### • Opportunities to bring your ideas and experiences into a effective working day • to actively participate in the further development and design of the residential group. • An open, transparent, and appreciative team culture with feedback and lived error culture, which places great value on satisfied employees • Case discussions with interdisciplinary specialist support as well as internal team-crossing supervision • Duty rosters, holiday times, weekend shifts, and free wishes are negotiated jointly in the team • A wide range of further training opportunities and attractive employment conditions (job ticket, Reka check, fair salaries, and allowances) round off the offer
