These are your tasks

• Procurement of individual components and assemblies
• Execution of the procurement process (demand and procurement market analysis, tendering, negotiation, award, supplier selection including contract conclusion)
• Participation in the creation of supplier and product group strategies and their implementation
• Participation in the qualification of suppliers
• Participation in supplier audits
• Actively conduct supplier management as a Lead Buyer
• Contract negotiations with suppliers

What you bring with you

• Technical basic training with corresponding further training in purchasing
• Preferably experience in vehicle and/or plant engineering
• Proven experience in supplier management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as good negotiation skills
• Very good negotiation and contract-secure language skills in German and English
• Experienced handling of SAP ERP system and MS-Office
• Willingness for international business travel
