For one of our clients, a reference hospital establishment located in the lausannoise region, we are recruiting Assistant·es socio-éducatif·ves (ASE) and Éducateur·trices for short and long-term temporary missions within psychiatry services.

Your mission
-------------

Within multidisciplinary teams, you actively participate in the support of adult patients presenting with psychic disorders. You contribute to their well-being, the maintenance of their skills and the development of their autonomy in respect of their care project.

Your main responsibilities:

• Accompany patients in activities of daily living.
• Promote autonomy, reintegration and the maintenance of social capacities.
• Lead and supervise educational, therapeutic and occupational activities.
• Ensure a close presence and establish a relationship of trust with patients.
• Participate in the management and prevention of crisis situations.
• Observe the evolution of the psychic state of patients and transmit relevant information to the nursing team.
• Collaborate closely with nurses, doctors, psychologists and other health professionals.

Your profile
------------

For ASE

• CFC as Assistant·e socio-éducatif·ve (ASE) or title deemed equivalent.
• Significant experience in the field of psychiatry or mental health.

For Éducateur·trices

• Diploma as Éducateur·trice spécialisé·e, HES or title deemed equivalent recognized in Switzerland.
• Experience with adults presenting with psychic disorders or in a psychiatric setting.

Required skills

• Professional experience of minimum 2 years in the support of persons in psychiatry or in an institutional setting.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and listening skills.
• Ability to manage complex situations with calm and professionalism.
• Team spirit and aptitude to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Flexibility and adaptability.
