Equipment Designer Turbines

You design special tools, fixtures, and measuring equipment for the production of turbines and generator rotors and accompany these from the idea to their use in production.

Tasks

• Design and construction of special tools, measuring equipment, and fixtures
• Ensuring timely provision from internal production or from external partners
• Definition and improvement of tool, measurement, and production concepts with production and engineering
• Development of machining strategies and calculation of cutting data
• Maintenance of tool lists and master data in Tool Data Management
• Coordination of procurement: offers, cost comparisons, checking technical drawings
• Monitoring of process performance, tool consumption, and costs

Profile

• Technical training in mechanical engineering, production technology, or industrial engineering, e.g., HF or equivalent experience
• Experience in the design of production tools, fixtures, and production equipment
• Knowledge in machining, tool concepts, and measurement strategies
• Fluent German and good English, oral and written

Offer
