Committed to the quality of public service, the Ville de La Chaux-de-Fonds is looking for a: Head of Signaling Sector at 80% - 100% Technical Service Your mission / You are in charge of the management of the signaling sector and the team, the definition and planning of the maintenance of vertical signaling and road markings, the management of light signaling installations, the preparation and monitoring of road traffic orders, the monitoring of requests relating to signaling, including analysis, processing and monitoring of decisions as well as the distribution and delegation of tasks between the various internal and external stakeholders of the municipal administration. You are able to manage emergencies, prepare tenders, conduct and supervise services and you ensure the implementation of the necessary legal and technical measures. Your profile / Personal skills / You hold a diploma as a civil engineering draughtsman or a works supervisor. Having good knowledge of the legal bases and professional standards in the field, you have experience with geographic information systems (GIS) and you master the usual computer-aided design tools (preferably Cadwork and AutoCAD). Possessing interpersonal skills, good communication skills and a good capacity for analysis and synthesis, you are an autonomous person demonstrating team spirit. Experience in personnel management would be an asset. Your writing skills (reports, notes) are well-proven. Desired start date / 1st October 2026 or date to be agreed.
