Job description As Head of the Regional Governance Unit for Information Security and Data Protection Switzerland, you are part of our global network of experts on the topic of information security and data protection. You have a comprehensive overview of the general and specific data protection requirements of our organization, particularly with regard to the new Swiss Data Protection Act and the European General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO). Among other things, the following tasks are part of your role: You take on the role of Data Protection Officer (DPO) for the Bosch Group in Switzerland. You update and maintain regional guidelines for information security and data protection. In doing so, you closely monitor business changes and legislative innovations, particularly with regard to the Swiss Data Protection Act (DSG) and the Data Protection Ordinance (DSV). You standardize and define daily governance processes, create central management templates, and provide professional data protection guidelines to the responsible teams. You organize and conduct internal information security and data protection audits, monitor corrective measures, and ensure the complete implementation of corrective measures and the closure of risks. You are responsible for introducing and implementing target group-specific awareness and training concepts within the Bosch Group, with a focus on the requirements of Swiss data protection. You actively shape the future of our work processes by defining, documenting, and successfully implementing them. In doing so, you always ensure the integration of data protection-friendly default settings ("Privacy by Design" and "Privacy by Default") in accordance with the DSG. The creation and maintenance of all relevant data protection documentation is also part of your area of responsibility. You exchange information with the global DPO team of the Bosch Group and ensure that local laws are complied with internationally in cooperation. Qualifications Education: Completed university degree in law or a comparable course of study with a focus on Swiss data protection law, knowledge of the European General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO), and several years of experience in the field of information security and data protection. Personality and way of working: Team-oriented, confident and friendly demeanor, independent way of working, analytical thinking, high solution and customer orientation, willingness to travel. Experiences and know-how: Good IT knowledge (especially MS Office), high IT affinity, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor certification, CISSP certification an advantage. Languages: Good German and English skills are a must, Swiss German an advantage.
