The Département de la femme, de l'enfant et de l'adolescent has the mission to offer quality care adapted to the needs of women at every stage of their lives and to the health problems faced by newborns, children, and adolescent boys and girls from birth until the age of 16. It works on the development of cutting-edge services and specialized competence centers. The Service de psychiatrie de l'enfant et de l'adolescent (SPEA) is responsible for the inpatient or outpatient care of children and adolescent boys and girls suffering from mental disorders. The teams work in multidisciplinary collaboration in a university environment offering many possibilities for undergraduate, postgraduate, and continuing education. The service occupies the new premises of the Maison de l-enfance et de l-adolescence (MEA) which brings together all the units of the service in a particularly warm setting, specifically designed to improve the quality of care for the most fragile young male and female patients. Psychologist at the Inpatient Unit of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Service - 60% You are currently undergoing training in psychotherapy or you are about to start your psychotherapy training and you wish to experience clinical work in an inpatient setting within the Inpatient Unit of the Service de psychiatrie de l'enfant et de l'adolescent (SPEA). In the inpatient setting, you ensure the follow-up of families of hospitalized children and adolescents, you participate in the development of care projects, in team meetings and in interdisciplinary syntheses, in close collaboration with the clinic heads, the intern doctors and with the nursing team. Qualifications You possess a MAS in psychotherapy or neuropsychology (or have been in the MAS training process for at least one year) or a title deemed equivalent. You have experience working with children and adolescent boys and girls and their families. You appreciate and are comfortable with interdisciplinary and interprofessional work. You possess knowledge of specific tools for the care of children, adolescent boys and girls. You have knowledge of the child psychiatric care network, as well as the Geneva social and educational network.
