Senior Project Manager

Context

As part of the reinforcement of its Cybersecurity roadmap, our client, an international group based in Switzerland, is looking for a Senior GRC Project Manager to join its IT / Cybersecurity organization.

The consultant will work within a Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) team and will be responsible for framing, piloting, and coordinating several cross-functional projects related to governance, risk, compliance, and cybersecurity.

The role requires a strong capacity for structuring, coordination, and communication with IT, business, and support function stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Project portfolio framing and planning

• Take charge of the context, existing work, stakeholders, and dependencies.
• Formalize Project Charters: objectives, scope, governance, responsibilities, deliverables, milestones, and success criteria.
• Build and maintain a consolidated roadmap of the portfolio.
• Identify priorities, capacities, dependencies, and critical paths.
• Implement steering tools and ensure they are kept up to date.

Operational management of GRC projects

• Develop and monitor project plans, milestones, workloads, actions, risks, issues, and decisions.
• Coordinate internal and external teams and various stakeholders.
• Organize and facilitate project committees, workshops, and coordination meetings.
• Identify deviations and ensure alerts are sent to the relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare decisions, arbitrations, and action plans.
• Ensure monitoring of the deliverable lifecycle: production, review, validation, versioning, and archiving.

Reporting and monitoring of RUN activities

• Produce a consolidated view of the portfolio's progress.
• Ensure reporting to management and governance bodies.
• Monitor, in particular, progress indicators, planning, capacity, risks, dependencies, actions, and decisions.
• Consolidate indicators related to the recurring activities of the GRC team.
• Identify discrepancies and follow up on corrective actions until their closure.

Quality, audit, and compliance

• Align project objectives, expected controls, evidence, and remediation plans.
• Prepare structured and reusable evidence files for internal and external reviews.
• Ensure follow-up on actions resulting from audits and findings until their closure.
• Ensure the quality and traceability of project documentation.

Change management and transition to RUN

• Coordinate communication and adoption needs with the teams concerned.
• Prepare and organize the transition of projects to RUN.
• Carry out project closures and document results, residual risks, and remaining actions.

Profile sought

We are looking for a confirmed to senior profile, with more than 7 years of experience in IT project or program management, ideally in the fields of cybersecurity, GRC, risk, or compliance.

You particularly possess:

• Proven experience in the simultaneous management of several cross-functional projects.
• A good understanding of cybersecurity, governance, risk management, audit, and compliance issues.
• A solid capacity to structure complex projects and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
• Significant experience in preparing and facilitating committees, workshops, and governance bodies.
• Good mastery of reporting for management and governing bodies.
• Mastery of project management practices: planning, risks, dependencies, RAID log, governance, change management, action tracking.
• Experience in a regulated environment or subject to control and audit requirements.
• An excellent capacity for communication and synthesis.

Certifications

ITIL v4 certification mandatory, or commitment to obtain it within the first four months of the mission.

• IPMA
• Scrum / SAFe
• ISO 27001 - Lead Auditor or Lead Implementer
• CISA
• Equivalent certification in project management, cybersecurity, or GRC
