The Department of Nuclear Medicine of the Clinique de Genolier is recognized as an SIWF training site of category B for a training period of a maximum of two years. It offers a position as an Assistant Physician or as a Senior Physician a. i. Our center is located in the Genolier Innovation Hub in the heart of the Campus Genolier, in the immediate vicinity of the departments for Radiation Oncology and Radiology. It is one of two European GE HealthCare Centers of Excellence for molecular imaging and theranostics as well as a founding member of the international network of GE HealthCare Innovation Centers. The center works actively with several Swiss and regional hospitals and institutions, including the Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève, the Luzerner Kantonsspital, the hospitals of Nyon and Morges, the Centre Hospitalier Alpes Léman, as well as the Centre Léon Bérard in Lyon. We have an active research program in the areas of advanced imaging, artificial intelligence, and clinical trials. In addition, we supervise students from technical universities as well as experienced researchers. You will become part of a team of five senior physicians. Two of them have a university connection: one person at the Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève and another as head of the theranostics unit of the Centre Léon Bérard in Lyon. Your further training also takes place under the supervision of specialists with two federal specialist titles, particularly in nuclear medicine and radiology or in nuclear medicine and cardiology. Job Description We are looking for a physician with the goal of acquiring the federal training title as a specialist in nuclear medicine. The position is suitable for both candidates with previous experience in nuclear medicine and for persons who wish to enter the field for the first time. Supervision is guaranteed by the experienced senior physicians of the department. The position offers you: direct and step-by-step access to the entire spectrum of diagnostic examinations; active participation in the therapy and theranostics program; participation in internal and external multidisciplinary case discussions and tumor boards; involvement in existing training networks; structured supervision according to the requirements of the SIWF training program. The conception and implementation of your own research project is also supported, especially with regard to fulfilling the requirements of the SIWF training program.
