Customs Declarant

Your tasks

• You are the first point of contact for the Swiss, Austrian and German customs authorities and are in regular exchange with them
• Our customers actively advise you in the area of customs clearances and support them in customs law processes, including exports, transit documents as well as special cases (e.g. repairs and returned goods upon import and export) and the issuance of proof of preference ( , Form A)
• In addition, you are responsible for direct border clearance as well as independent customs clearance (CH, AT, DE) with the procedures ZE/ZV using the corresponding IT systems (e-dec, eZoll AT/Zolaris, ATLAS DE, Scope)
• The handling of general administrative tasks as well as professional support of walk-in customers at the counter including cash collection also belong to your area of responsibility

Our requirements

• For this position, you bring a completed vocational training in the forwarding sector, ideally with further training in customs (e.g. customs specialist with federal diploma) as well as several years of professional experience in the international customs clearance environment (CH/AT/DE)
• You have very good IT skills and confident handling of the relevant customs systems (e-dec, Scope, eZoll AT – Zolaris, ATLAS DE) as well as MS Office
• You are a conscientious, structured and team-oriented personality with a high service orientation and enjoyment of customer consulting
• Very good German skills as well as good English skills are required
