Distribution of medications and logistical assistance

• Execute orders from care units and prepare deliveries.
• Distribute medications to care units (caregivers, doctors), perform computer entries and verify delivery operations.
• Collect necessary logistical information (price, type of packaging, storage conditions, etc.) on various medications.
• Provide care units with logistical information on the use of medications (package sizes, available forms, storage conditions, etc.).

Stock management and maintenance

• Place orders for medications with wholesalers and suppliers.
• Perform the placement of medications in the central pharmacy and in certain care unit pharmacies.
• Control stock quantities and correct stock errors in the central pharmacy.
• Control, in the central pharmacy and in the care unit pharmacies, expiry dates, remove expired products and dormant products, return them to distributors or destroy them.
• Manage medication returns from care units.

Administrative management

• Prepare billing for services to care units.
• Perform various simple administrative tasks (labeling, filing, archiving narcotic forms, etc.).
• Perform updates of product files in the management software.
• Transmission of modifications, creations for the computerized patient record software.
• Federal Certificate of Capacity as a pharmacy assistant (CFC)
