Ward Manager on Dementia Ward

Introduction

On behalf of our client, we are looking for an engaged and empathetic personality as a deputy ward manager for a modern dementia ward. In this versatile role, you will support the ward manager in daily operations and assume co-responsibility for the professional and organizational leadership of the team.

Tasks

• Support for the ward manager in professional, organizational, and personnel matters
• Co-responsibility for professional nursing and care of the residents
• Support and guidance of the nursing team in everyday life
• Ensuring and further developing the quality of care
• Participation in direct nursing care as well as assuming responsibility in daily business
• Cooperation with relatives, doctors, and interdisciplinary specialist departments

Profile

• Training as a dipl. Pflegefachperson HF/FH or equivalent recognition
• Experience in the field of dementia or long-term care
• Initial leadership experience or interest in a leadership function
• Empathic, resilient, and responsible personality
• Enjoyment of teamwork and of supporting employees
