On behalf of one of our clients, we are looking for an Automation Technician CFC (M/F).

Your future responsibilities:

• You will machine plates, cabinet doors, enclosures, as well as copper bars using our CNC.
• You will assemble, equip, and wire electrical panels and cabinets intended for distribution (TGBT), building technology (MCR, home automation), as well as metering, based on plans and assembly diagrams.
• You will read and interpret plans, electrical diagrams, and technical documents necessary for the realization of different projects.
• You will ensure the assembly and connection of the different electrical components.
• You will prepare and identify cables, conductors, terminal blocks, and various electrical equipment.
• You will perform the surveys of the completed assemblies and document any modifications.
• You will perform inspections of the electrical panels and cabinets after their manufacture.
• You will carry out the necessary tests and measurements to guarantee the compliance and proper functioning of the installations.
• You will identify any assembly or wiring errors and carry out the necessary corrections.
• You will participate in the testing and commissioning of the electrical panels and cabinets.
• You will ensure compliance with quality requirements and manufacturing deadlines.
• You will ensure the routine maintenance of the tools, machines, and equipment used.
• You will keep your workstation clean, organized, and secure.
• You will collaborate with the different members of the team within the framework of project realization.
• You will respect the current electrical standards and regulations.
• You will apply the rules regarding occupational safety, health protection, and environmental respect.

Your profile:

• You hold a CFC in automation or a training deemed equivalent.
• You perfectly master the reading and interpretation of plans and electrical diagrams.
• You know the Swiss standards, names, and practices related to the field of electricity.
• You benefit from several years of experience in the field of automation, wiring, or the construction of electrical panels.
• You have good knowledge in the assembly, wiring, and connection of electrical installations.
• You are capable of working in a completely autonomous, precise, and organized manner.
• You are a rigorous, reliable person attentive to the quality of the work performed.
• You know how to identify technical problems and find suitable solutions.
• You enjoy teamwork while being able to manage your tasks independently.
• You respect safety standards as well as the current work procedures.
• You hold a valid driver's license and have your own vehicle.
• You reside in Switzerland and are available to work in the region.
