The Amt für Justizvollzug (AJV) Graubünden is a department of the Departement für Justiz, Sicherheit und Gesundheit of the Canton of Graubünden. The AJV is responsible for the execution of sentences and measures as well as the implementation of the various types of detention. In Graubünden, the execution of sentences and measures is regulated as a unified field of topics and a holistic task, in which various professional groups work interdisciplinarily with convicted persons to prevent further delinquency.

The Justizvollzugsanstalt (JVA) Cazis Tignez employs around 110 staff members and has 150 detention places in closed execution. Of these, 100 in normal execution, ten in the admission department, 28 in the special execution area and twelve in pretrial detention.

Social Worker ##

Your area of responsibility ###

• Responsible for psychosocial counseling and crime-preventative social work for committed persons
• Care for committed persons of different origins and cultural backgrounds
• Ensuring high-quality basic care in the sense of professional case management
• Execution planning of the committed persons according to the processes of risk-oriented sanction execution (ROS)
• Writing various documents such as execution reports
• Interdisciplinary cooperation with other specialist departments as well as referring authorities and external specialist agencies

What we want from you ###

• Completed training as a Social Worker FH/BSc as well as several years of professional experience
• Ideally, you already have experience in forensic social work
• You enjoy working with people of different origins and different biographies
• Structured and exact way of working as well as willingness for constructive cooperation in a compulsory context
• High social competence, resilience, assertiveness and ability to set boundaries
• Enjoyment of teamwork as well as interdisciplinary cooperation
• Good oral and written expression in German as well as additional knowledge of cantonal and foreign languages are an advantage
• An impeccable record is required (no entries in the criminal and debt collection register)
