Customs Declarant: Import & Export Truck

Apply Initial situation ### We are looking for someone who feels comfortable in customs affairs and reliably accompanies truck shipments through everyday import and export operations. If you enjoy working independently, keeping an overview, and appreciate a lively, uncomplicated team, this task could be just right for you. Vacancy No. 6619 ## Tasks ### • creation and processing of import and export customs declarations • clearance of transports for free circulation (EU customs clearances) • opening and monitoring of transit declarations • checking and creating customs documents • communicating with customers, freight forwarders, and customs authorities • compliance with national and international customs regulations • clarification of customs tariffs and preferential arrangements • supporting the optimization of customs processes • clearance of permits and special procedures • monitoring and controlling customs clearance processes • processing of complaints and objections • preparing and accompanying customs audits Requirements ### • preferably basic commercial training as a freight forwarding clerk or customs declarant • min. three years of practical experience as a customs declarant in an international freight forwarding company IT ### MS-Office - good knowledge Passar, ATLAS, Tares - good knowledge Languages ### German: m+s very good English: knowledge very welcome Start date ### short-term or by arrangement Work location ### Schaffhausen Special ### Curious?
