District Management Facility Management Educational Buildings (80-100 %)

You will assume leadership and responsibility for the operation of the educational buildings in the Nord district and actively participate in shaping processes, resources, and the further development of the area.

Your tasks

• You are responsible for the operation and maintenance of the educational buildings in the Nord district.
• You lead around 65 employees in the areas of cleaning and caretaker services, 10 of whom are direct reports.
• You plan and control the personnel and operational resources in your area of responsibility.
• You are the contact and coordination point for users as well as internal and external partners.
• You further develop and implement processes, methods, and tools in the specialist area.
• You participate in the conception, planning, and implementation of strategic and organizational projects.
• You actively participate in shaping the further development of the Management Operation area and the management organization.

Your profile

• You possess a federal diploma as a Head of Facility Management or Maintenance or a Bachelor in Facility Management.
• You bring several years of professional and leadership experience.
• You possess strong leadership competence and enjoy the development of employees and teams.
• You are a winning, team-oriented, and service-oriented personality with high social competence.
• You are characterized by organizational strength and networked thinking and develop viable solutions even when faced with differing interests.
• You are experienced in dealing with CAFM and MS Teams.
• Whether small or large -- you like changes, actively initiate them, and enjoy creating new things.

The employees of the Management Operation area ensure every day that the city-owned properties are clean, well-maintained, and reliably kept up.
The approximately 200 employees of the Immobilien department develop, design, build, manage, maintain, and operate about 600 municipal properties. With school and sports facilities, residential and commercial buildings, as well as the Rat- und Stadthaus, the department makes an important contribution to a livable city.
