Head of Occupational Safety and Environment (m/f) 80–100 % Your daily work In this key position, reporting directly to the executive management, you will take overall responsibility for the three central thematic areas of Occupational Safety & Health Protection, Environment & Energy, as well as Project Management & Project Leadership. You will ensure that legal requirements, internal standards, and corporate goals are not only complied with, but effectively translated into the organization and sustainably anchored. In the area of occupational safety and health protection, you will further develop existing systems, conduct risk analyses, audits, and inspections, train employees, and strengthen the safety culture throughout the entire company. At the same time, you will be responsible for the topics of environment and energy, monitor relevant processes, ensure necessary compliance, and initiate targeted optimization and efficiency measures. Furthermore, you will lead and manage projects in the areas of safety, environment, and energy – from conception through implementation to reporting to executive management and the group. You will coordinate internal and external interfaces, initiate improvements, and ensure that change processes are professionally accompanied and successfully implemented. Your profile Higher technical or operational vocational training, ideally with industrial experience Additional training as a Safety Engineer or Safety Specialist (EKAS) Several years of experience in occupational safety as well as in environmental management Project management competence with practical experience in leading projects Proficient German and very good English skills Convincing, strong-communication personality with assertiveness Experience in training and sensitizing employees Analytical, structured, and independent way of working Your benefit Our client offers you a demanding and versatile function with great creative freedom and real effectiveness.
