Editor-in-chief – photojournalist – 50 to 70 % – Le Point Chablais Le Point Chablais, a monthly newspaper covering local news from the municipalities of Aigle, Bex and surroundings (VD), managed by volunteers. Your responsibilities: Editorial coordination Coordinate the production of magazine content. Plan the editorial calendar. Ensure follow-up of local news. Produce and publish articles. Proofread, correct and optimize content (SEO). Produce newsletters. Publish content on digital platforms. Participate in the layout of print editions. Collaborate with editors, photographers and section heads. Enrich content with photos, graphics and videos. Magazine development Develop new editorial and event formats. Participate in exchanges with partners and advertisers. Contribute to the development of the magazine. Participate in the search for sponsors. Contribute to communication and distribution strategies. Occasionally participate in evening or weekend events. Your profile: Training in journalism, communication or equivalent. Good command of written French. Excellent writing skills. Knowledge of web publishing rules and SEO. Good general knowledge. Strong interest in Vaud, regional and economic news. Good knowledge of the Vaud media landscape. Very good network in the canton of Vaud among local actors (an asset). Spirit of initiative and ability to propose ideas. Rigor and organizational skills. Interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a team. Good command of collaborative tools and interest in digital media.
