Job description ##

For a company in the Fribourg region, we are looking for a 121 welder with up-to-date qualification. You will work on construction sites or in a workshop, in an environment where assembly quality and safety are paramount.

Responsibilities

• Perform 121 welding work according to plans, isometrics, and technical instructions provided by the site hierarchy.
• Prepare parts to be welded by performing tack welding, chamfering, and dimensional control before any final welding operation.
• Use 121 welding equipment and associated tools while strictly respecting safety rules and internal procedures.
• Perform visual self-inspection of completed welds and immediately report any non-conformity or defect detected on assemblies.
• Maintain order, cleanliness, and organization of the workstation, while respecting environmental instructions and metal waste sorting.
• Collaborate with assembly teams and other trades to ensure proper coordination of interventions and respect for site deadlines.

Profile

• Mandatory school education completed in Switzerland or recognized as equivalent.
• Up-to-date 121 welder qualification, already used in a construction environment.
• First experience in the construction or metallurgy sector, in a workshop or on a construction site.
• Sense of responsibility, reliability, and respect for working hours and instructions.
• Good physical condition for construction site work and occasional lifting of loads.
• Willingness to integrate into a team in the Fribourg region over the long term.
