In this varied role, you will take on challenging tasks in the field of pipe construction as well as reactive, proactive, and preventive maintenance of our production facilities. With your manual skills and technical expertise, you will ensure the safe and reliable operation of our piping systems. This way, you will make an important contribution to high plant availability, product quality, and compliance with our quality, safety, and compliance standards at the Visp site. You can also find the complete list of our global benefits at: https://bit.ly/3wjkoFi Your tasks: Professional and economical measurement, production, and assembly of complex piping and support systems in pipe construction Creation of isometrics and piping segments according to technical specifications and project requirements Planning and organizing work processes based on R&I flowcharts, for project work and plant modifications Application of PED guidelines as well as work according to internal pipe classes, factory standards, and quality-assuring specifications Your profile: Completed training as a plant and equipment constructor EFZ in pipe construction, pipe fitter, heating installer, or sanitary installer Several years of professional experience as a pipe fitter or fitter are an advantage Willingness to continuous further education Enjoyment of interdisciplinary work as well as independent and flexible work in the team Reliability, resilience, and entrepreneurial action as well as open, direct communication German language skills in word and writing, English language skills are an advantage At Lonza, our employees are our greatest strength.
