Do you want to not only plan cyber security, but also operate, analyze and further develop it? Do you enjoy taking technical responsibility and working hands-on? Then you have come to the right place. As a System Engineer Cyber Security at the Kernkraftwerk Gösgen-Däniken, you are responsible for an IT security infrastructure where availability, resilience and traceability are decisive. You analyze logs and security messages, identify risks and ensure their consistent processing.

You work close to the systems, move confidently on the CLI and take ownership of your security systems. In doing so, you question existing solutions, contribute your own ideas and further develop our infrastructure. Your work contributes directly to the safe and reliable operational management of the Kernkraftwerk Gösgen-Däniken.

What awaits you: ##

• You accompany security incidents end-to-end - from detection, analysis and containment to remediation and the derivation of sustainable improvement measures.
• You are responsible for the stable and secure operation, administration, configuration and quality assurance of our security platforms in the areas of Firewall, Proxy, NDR, XDR and EDR.
• You analyze logs and technical connections, identify risks and lead topics from analysis to sustainable solution.
• You evaluate and implement new security solutions and further develop our security infrastructure technically and conceptually.
• You participate in IT system engineering, especially in the areas of monitoring and patch management.
• You take ownership of your systems, question existing solutions and actively contribute your know-how to the team as a technical sparring partner.

What distinguishes you: ##

• Training as an Informatiker EFZ or equivalent qualification as well as several years of experience in system engineering and practical experience in the cyber security environment.
• Sound Linux knowledge as well as experience with security platforms, incident handling, hardening, logging and monitoring.
• Experience in critical infrastructures or regulated environments is an advantage.
• You work independently, take responsibility and bring technical projects to completion efficiently and with high quality.
• You question existing solutions, contribute your own ideas, share your knowledge and coach colleagues.
• Flawless reputation, high sense of responsibility for security as well as very good German skills (C1/C2), understanding of Swiss German and good English skills. You accept the special framework conditions of a security-critical infrastructure, including a limited amount of home office due to system isolation.
