Holzbau Schweiz Sektion Aargau based in Aarau stands for a strong and sustainable timber construction industry. We create real added value for our members through professional services and are committed to strengthening the reputation of the timber industry as well as positive political and economic framework conditions. A particular focus is on high-quality vocational training in timber construction. For inter-company courses and adult education, the association operates a modern training center in Oberentfelden.

Managing Director (70-100 %)

Your tasks

• Operational, personnel and financial management of the association and training center incl. budget and annual accounts
• Preparation, organization and implementation of the resolutions of the board and education commission as well as organization of the assemblies
• Organization and coordination of the EFZ/EBA qualification procedure
• Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the ÜK center
• Management of projects, digitalization and further development of services
• Organization of industry and image campaigns, especially in youth promotion
• Representation of the association towards members, authorities and national associations

Your profile

• Completed basic training in a manual-commercial or commercial profession and several years of professional experience in a similar position
• Recognized management and leadership training (HF, Higher vocational or professional examination or comparable)
• Organizational skill, initiative and convincing communication skills, also before assemblies
• Very good German and IT skills
• Enjoyment of teamwork as well as interest in association activities and political processes
• Trustworthy, loyal and discreet
