Chef de service

The employer is looking for a:

Chef de service (reported profession)

Tasks:

• supervise table service, the mise en place of the dining room, and cleaning
• welcome guests, manage public relations in the dining room, and handle complaints
• plan, set up, and organize banquet halls, buffets, and meeting rooms
• coordinate waiters and ranks, plan monthly work shifts, and motivate employees

Requirements:

• knowledge of food and beverage service techniques
• solid previous practice of at least 3 years in the catering sector
• communication skills, customer orientation, stress resistance, and authority required
• adaptive capacity to different users, individual clients, groups, seminars, business clientele, regular clientele
• availability to work in shifts, on public holidays, and on weekends
• good oral knowledge of Italian, German, and English
