For our customers – various window construction companies and joineries from the Canton of Lucerne – we are continuously looking for experienced female window fitters, window builders, and Joiner*s EFZ for long-term temporary assignments.
The construction sites are located, depending on the order, in the cantons of Lucerne, Obwalden, Nidwalden, Schwyz, Zug, Zürich, Basel, Solothurn, Aargau, or Bern.
If the cooperation suits you and the client company, there is the possibility of a later permanent position directly with the customer.
Important: This job offer is aimed at candidates who already have a permanent residence or their own accommodation in Central Switzerland. No accommodation will be organized by us or our customers.

Job Description

Depending on the client company and construction site, you will undertake the following tasks:

• Assembly of windows and doors
• Assembly of wood, wood-metal, and plastic windows
• Dismantling and professional removal of existing windows
• Window installation on new builds and renovations
• Alignment and fastening of window elements
• Sealing, connection, and insulation work
• Assembly of windowsills and accessories
• Service, maintenance, and repair work
• Adjusting and checking windows and fittings
• Working according to plans and assembly documents
• Cooperation with other craftsmen on the construction site
• Daily assignments on various construction sites in German-speaking Switzerland
• Start of work and joint travel take place depending on the assignment from the customer's company headquarters in the Canton of Lucerne

Deployment Regions

Our customers are headquartered in the Canton of Lucerne. The construction sites are mainly located in the following cantons:
Lucerne, Obwalden, Nidwalden, Schwyz, Zug, Zürich, Basel-Stadt and Basel-Landschaft, Solothurn, Aargau, Bern

Requirements Profile

• Training as a Joiner EFZ, Window Builder, or comparable manual training
• Alternatively, several years of professional experience in window installation
• Experience in installing windows and doors is an advantage
• Permanent residence or existing own accommodation in Central Switzerland
• Readiness for construction site assignments in various cantons
• Flexibility regarding place of work and start of work
• Manual dexterity and technical understanding
• Independent, precise, and reliable way of working
• Physical fitness and enjoyment of working on construction sites
• Ability to work in a team and good manners towards customers
• Good German skills
• Driving license category B is an advantage
• Own car for travel to the company headquarters or meeting point is an advantage
