Join Roche, where every voice matters.The Position "Synthetic Molecules Technical Development" (PTDC) brings a broad range of experiences in the areas of Drug Substance (DS), Drug Product (DP) and Analytical Sciences and works closely with key partners in the areas of Research and Early Development (pRED / gRED), commercial production of small molecule active ingredients (PTC) and global technical development (PTD). PTDC is responsible for the late technical development of our pipeline for small molecules and the production of DS and DP for clinical studies.The OpportunityIn PTDC, the Small Molecules Teams transform synthetic molecules into medicines. We develop robust, cost-effective manufacturing processes, deliver clinical goods and create knowledge through innovation and continuous improvement in a collaborative environment.Within the Chemical Process Development department, the pilot and production operations of Scale-up & Supply (PTDC-S) make a significant contribution to ensuring that the processes for producing new pharmaceutical active ingredients for large-scale applications are developed robustly and optimally, in order to produce the required quantities of active substance in the required quality on time for clinical and toxicological studies. Your tasks include:Carrying out chemical reactions and physical unit operations on multi-purpose production plants in a three-shift operationPreparing and cleaning the multi-purpose plantsAssisting with conversions and repairs to the plantsDocumenting work and complying with good manufacturing practice (GMP guidelines)Implementing and fully complying with the relevant Roche policies, procedures and standards in the areas of safety, health and environmental protectionFlexible and independent workWho you are:Completed training as a chemical and pharmaceutical technician (m/w/d)Independent and precise way of working and good GMP knowledgeInterest in new technologies and experience in operating modern plants with programmable controlGood MS Office skillsDynamic and initiative-driven work style and team spiritWillingness to work flexiblyFluent German language skills, English is an advantageThis position is limited to 2 years.Apply now and become part of our team to shape the future together!
