Early childhood educators ES/HES and socio-educational assistants - Replacement pool

The Ville de Lausanne conducts a dynamic and ambitious daycare policy in its development for the well-being of children and their families.
To ensure the continuity of educational services during short to medium-term absences, the Service de la petite enfance is strengthening its pool of itinerant pre-school and after-school staff.

Several fixed positions are available, with activity rates between 50% and 90%.

Missions #####

• Ensure replacements for socio-educational staff within our municipal centres de vie enfantines (CVE) and accueils pour enfants en milieu scolaire (APEMS) within the Ville
• Accompany groups of children individually and collectively and respond to their fundamental needs and ensure their safety
• Ensure the implementation of the pedagogical project of the childcare structure concerned
• Participate in actions contributing to the development of the child and promoting socialization
• Facilitate activities as well as outings in connection with the children's ages with the entire educational team
• Actively participate in the monthly meeting of the replacement pool team

Profile #####

• Diploma of early childhood educator ES/HES or socio-educational assistant or other titles admitted by the SCAJE (service cantonal de l'accueil de jour des enfants) competency framework
• Confirmed experience within a community of children with groups of different age groups (0-12 years)
• Flexibility and high capacity for adaptation required
• Versatility and strong spirit of collaboration
• Interpersonal ease and good communication skills
• Mastery of the French language, oral and written (level B2)
