This department has the mission of ensuring the necessary maintenance and logistics for the proper functioning of all HUG, in terms of restoration, cleaning and disinfection of premises and laundry hygiene. It also manages the medical device reprocessing service, the biomedical and equipment service, as well as Cressy-Santé. Over 1'300 professionals carry out their missions every day with a constant concern for excellence, with a sense of service and environmental responsibility. Within the medical device reprocessing service, composed of around 90 people, under the responsibility of the management team, you have the mission of ensuring the reprocessing of medical devices as a medical device technologist. Group Leader - Medical Device Reprocessing Service - 100% Under the responsibility of the production manager, you are part of a team of group leaders, sharing the management of the 70 medical device technologists in the service from their entry into position and on a daily basis. You organize and ensure the reprocessing services for medical devices for all HUG services (operating rooms, care services, or any other internal client) and external clients, relying on your customer-oriented attitude. You coordinate the handling of medical devices according to good sterilization practices, priorities, and emergencies for operating rooms and the entire client base. You are able to analyze situations, decide, work autonomously, and in a team to optimize the use of technical resources according to priorities and needs. Sensitive to the presence of patients and hospital constraints, you supervise and ensure the application of procedures and protocols defined in the service quality assurance system and all good professional practices. Your sense of organization and planning guarantees the handling of medical devices according to the resources and needs of the different sectors while ensuring a balance between production needs and the well-being of collaborators and collaborators. Of a positive, optimistic nature, and demonstrating listening skills, you motivate and support your collaborators by developing a team spirit. You maintain a partnership climate in order to proactively manage complex situations involving several professional actors and actresses. You update the knowledge of your collaborators and collaborators, as well as yours, related to medical device reprocessing, through continuous training and congresses. Qualifications You have the ideal profile if you hold a CFC as a Medical Device Technologist or possess a STE 2 with 5 years of experience in medical device reprocessing, including 1 year in the hospital field, complemented by management training with a minimum of 2 years of experience in team management. You have an exemplary attitude and embody the institutional values (trust, respect, team spirit, recognition, equality & inclusion). You use office software Excel and Word with ease, and ideally, you have good experience with GPAO software. You have a very good command of the French language, both spoken and written. Additional Information This position requires irregular hours, the medical device reprocessing service being operational 24/7 and 365 days a year. The activity of group leader will take place on the Cluse-Roseraie and Vernier sites throughout the entire period of deployment of the service's activities, until 2027.
